Mar Vista knows its food — the Sunday farmers market on Venice Blvd, the neighborhood spots along Grand View, backyard dinners that run long. What it doesn't have is a churro fried the moment you order it. We're a straight shot north: take Sawtelle or the 405 one exit and you're at our stand at National Blvd before the craving wears off.
Every churro comes out of the fryer hot, then goes plain, rolled in cinnamon sugar, or dusted in powdered sugar — your call. Add a premium dipping sauce (chocolate, cajeta, guava, strawberry, blueberry, coconut, or lechera) and a Häagen-Dazs cup and you've got the after-dinner move for a Mar Vista movie night.
Feeding more than a few? The party platter — 65 churros for $50 — is made for Mar Vista birthday parties and block parties, and you can order one for any day of the week with a little notice — pick up during booth hours, or we'll deliver when the stand is closed.
